Based on a 2004 Range Rover Vogue, this car has been professional facelifted to the 2010 Autobiography Black. This was a special limited edition car which was released only in 2010 to celebrate 40 years of the Range Rover, and was strictly limited to 700 units world-wide…
The Autobiography Black has a number of unique features which distinguish it from the ‘standard’ 2010 onwards Range Rover Autobiography. First and foremost, as the name would suggest, this model features a lot more black, and was only available in black! It has a special front grille with black trim, black and chrome side grilles, black door handles, black and silver alloys and so on.
Only genuine Land Rover parts were used for the conversion – and these parts are now exceptionally rare (being spares for just the 700 cars made), making not only the original cars very rare, but also the facelifted replica’s as well!
The facelift really does transform the entire car and looks simply stunning in every regard. The full facelift includes all of the following upgrades:

Conducted by our own Vehicle Technician, the conversion has been completed to the very highest standard and the conversion does NOT suffer from any of the issues that commonly affect these conversions, especially ones where members of the general public try this (very) complex procedure for themselves. All of these problems have been solved for our conversions:
• SOLVED: Fog lights permanently on with headlights
• SOLVED: Headlight warning messages on dashboard
• SOLVED: Headlight faults in diagnostics
• SOLVED: Indicators flashing too quickly
• SOLVED: Headlights burning too brightly
• SOLVED: Flickering rear lights upon start up
• SOLVED: Requirement to switch off test signal using CANBUS*
This model is fitted with the superb BMW 4.4 litre V8 engine, which provides 281bhp and a very refined yet capable drive with more than enough power available when it’s needed.
This is the Vogue model, meaning that it is absolutely packed with features and gadgets (see list at bottom of description). It’s a truly stunning looking car and finished an absolutely glorious colour combination: black bodywork with parchment leather interior.
*We believe (although we’re happy to be proved wrong!) that we are currently the only company in the UK whose conversions allow the test signal to remain on. The test signal essentially fires up when you put the key in and runs a circuit and will report if any bulbs etc have gone and display this information on the dashboard. All of the third party conversions we have seen to date have all had this switched off using CANBUS as it is a shortcut to reducing certain issues with the conversion, so should a bulb go the car will not report it to you. We have solved this issue on our conversions.
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in stunning black paintwork, which we think is simply the best factory colour and was the only colour available for the Autobiography Black. Originally being the Vogue model, this is finished off with factory fitted privacy glass all round, which really does compliment the bodywork colour and adds to the overall ‘look’ of the car.
The car is currently fitted with virtually brand new, extremely rare, and 100% genuine 20†2010 Autobiography Black alloy wheels and new Pirelli Scorpion tyres. These are all absolutely immaculate. It should be noted that the brand new price for these alloys (if you can find them!!!) with tyres is in the region of £3,000…
Please note that these upgraded wheels are not included in the screen price but are available by separate negotiation. The original 19†Vogue wheels are available and are included within the price shown should you not require the wheel upgrade.
The most recent upgrade to the car is the addition of a 2010 twin chrome piped, genuine Range Rover Supercharged exhaust – as found on the petrol Autobiography Black. This is a costly upgrade, but really finishes the look of the car. Although not offering any real performance upgrade, it does give the car a lovely new sound, and rest assured that the car has passed its MOT with the exhaust in place without any issues what-so-ever.
The standard door handles have been upgraded using special handle covers, which are finished in black as per the genuine Autobiography Black car.
In addition, the side mirrors have been upgraded (using caps) to the split-cap style (which features on all 2006 onwards Range Rovers), which have been sprayed black on the top half to match the bodywork – again a prerequisite of the Autobiography Black.
Also worthy of note is that the car was supplied (we believe from new) with a Supagard coating which is a special application which help protect the paintwork. More details can be found on www.supagard.co.uk
This car is also fitted with the factory fitted parking sensors on both the front and the rear to aid parking, as well as headlight washers (front parking sensors and headlight washers are all brand new as part of the 2010 facelift conversion).
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Range Rover, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard.
The seats are finished in glorious parchment leather, and the parchment leather continues around the door trim and dashboard trim and is perfectly complimented by the silver dash and door embellishments.
The car has electric adjustable seats for both driver and passenger, and the drivers seat memorises up to four different positions, so if you and your partner drive the same car, simply open the door, press the memory seat button (inside of the door) and it will automatically adjust the seat to your own unique settings before you even step into the car!
Both front and rear seats are heated, as is the steering wheel (great on cold days!) and the steering wheel also includes controls for the stereo and cruise control. The steering wheel adjustment is also fully electric, and is also memorised along with the drivers seat so it adjusts to your personal position when you press the memory button.
And to top it all off this car is also fitted with a full electric sunroof.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY and come complete with the stamped Land Rover Service Log book.
The car was last serviced with 1st Class Marques at 58,749 miles, so there are approximately 15,000 miles until the next service will be due!
The car benefits from having had a brand new radiator recently fitted, which comes with a two year warranty. The original radiator had developed a slow leak, and so we have replaced it ready for the new owner.
