The Range Rover is quite simply the last word for luxurious four wheel drive vehicles. They perfectly match a spacious four by four with a level of luxury and refinement not usually found in 4x4’s, and a wonderful vibrant driving experience. The number one choice of many celebrities worldwide, the Range Rover is certainly a car to make you feel special, and to turn heads.
This particular car benefits from having a recent full 2011 Supercharged Autobiography facelift which makes it virtually indistinguishable from a brand new 2011 Range Rover with a current starting value (without optional extra’s!) of £86,000.
The facelift really does transform the entire car and looks simply stunning in every regard. The full facelift includes all of the following upgrades:

Conducted by our own Vehicle Technician, the conversion has been completed to the very highest standard and the conversion does NOT suffer from any of the issues that commonly affect these conversions, especially ones where members of the general public try this (very) complex procedure for themselves. All of these problems have been solved for our conversions:
• SOLVED: Fog lights permanently on with headlights
• SOLVED: Headlight warning messages on dashboard
• SOLVED: Headlight faults in diagnostics
• SOLVED: Indicators flashing too quickly
• SOLVED: Headlights burning too brightly
• SOLVED: Flickering rear lights upon start up
• SOLVED: Requirement to switch off test signal using CANBUS*
It should be noted that although this is a 2005 car it is actually one of the first 2006 body shaped models, which offers several key advantages over the 2003-2005 original Range Rover model…
Firstly, this model is fitted with the Jaguar 4.4 V8 rather than the BMW engine fitted to the previous model. This engine change gave a performance upgrade from 281bhp on the earlier model to 301bhp for the 2006 model.
The driveshaft design was also overhauled for the 2006 model to iron out the issues found on the earlier model, and the car was fitted with a brand new touch screen sat nav system which also shows various live data from the drive train etc of the car as well as a massively improved Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Of course, the 2006 model was completely changed externally from the 2003-2005 model but most of this has been superseded by the 2011 facelift in this case. However, worthy of note is that the original model has solid single piece wing mirror backs, whereas from the 2006 model (and through to the 2011 model!) the mirrors featured a 50/50 split rear cap design. On brand new Range Rover’s today the top halves of these caps are body coloured and it is this factor that makes it easy to spot a 2011 facelift car from a genuine 2011 car. Thankfully, being the later model this car features the split cap design, and we have fitted body coloured caps to the top halves to complete the look of the conversion.
But perhaps the biggest advantage of the 2006 model over the earlier car is the upgrade from a 5 speed to 6 speed automatic gearbox, which offers a much more refined driving experience as the gear changes are both more frequent and smoother.
This model is fitted with the superb Jaguar 4.4 litre V8 engine, which provides 301bhp and a very refined yet capable drive with more than enough power available when it’s needed.
This is the Vogue model, meaning that it is absolutely packed with features and gadgets (see list at bottom of description). It’s a truly stunning looking car and finished in unquestionably the best colour combination: black bodywork with cream leather interior with walnut trim.
*We believe (although we’re happy to be proved wrong!) that we are currently the only company in the UK who’s conversions allow the test signal to remain on – especially on the 2006 onwards model which has a more complex system. The test signal essentially fires up when you put the key in and runs a circuit and will report if any bulbs etc have gone and display this information on the dashboard. All of the third party conversions we have seen to date have all had this switched off using CANBUS as it is a shortcut to reducing certain issues with the conversion, so should a bulb go the car will not report it to you. We have solved this issue on our conversions.
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in stunning black paintwork, which we think is simply the best factory colour. Being the Vogue model, this is finished off with factory fitted privacy glass all round, which really does compliment the bodywork colour and adds to the overall ‘look’ of the car.
The car is currently fitted with brand new 22†2011 Autobiography style alloy wheels and brand new tyres, which are our personal favourite wheel choice. However, we can source and fit most wheels to meet your particular taste or requirements. Please note that the upgraded wheel option is not included in the screen price and the original 19†wheels are available and are included within the price shown should you not require a wheel upgrade.
This car is also fitted with the factory fitted parking sensors on both the front and the rear to aid parking, as well as headlight washers (front parking sensors and headlight washers are all brand new as part of the 2011 facelift conversion).
Another very nice feature is the rear parking camera. As soon as the car is put into reverse the sat nav screen changes to camera view – very useful for getting into tight spaces!
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Range Rover, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard.
The seats are finished in glorious cream leather, and the cream leather continues around the door trim and dashboard trim and is perfectly complimented by the walnut dash and door embellishments.
The car has electric adjustable seats for both driver and passenger, and the drivers seat memorises up to four different positions, so if you and your partner drive the same car, simply open the door, press the memory seat button (inside of the door) and it will automatically adjust the seat to your own unique settings before you even step into the car!
Both front and rear seats are heated, as is the steering wheel (great on cold days!) and the steering wheel also includes controls for the stereo and cruise control. The steering wheel adjustment is also fully electric, and is also memorised along with the drivers seat so it adjusts to your personal position when you press the memory button.
And to top it all off this car is also fitted with a full electric sunroof.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY and come complete with the stamped Land Rover Service Log book.
The car was last serviced with 1st Class Marques at 79,461 miles, so the car will not need servicing again until November 2012 or approximately 89,500 miles (whichever comes first).
The car benefits from having had a brand new transfer box fitted by Land Rover earlier this year (29/03/2011) - complete with invoice. This offers excellent peace of mind as the transfer box is (unfortunately) quite a common issue on Range Rover’s and is expensive to repair!
