The Outlander was originally created by Mitsubishi as a car offering all the benefits of a 4x4 such as four wheel drive, high ground clearance, ability to cope well in all weather conditions etc, coupled with a more practical car-like body size, emissions and economy. And the Outlander really does score on all points – whether simply zipping around town or taking a camping holiday abroad, the Outlander is a great all-round choice.
This excellent example is the top of the range Sport SE model and so includes all available options extras as standard – and all of the extra features really do set the car in a league of its own compared to base model Outlanders.
The car is finished in the best colour combination available for the Outlander of black with full black leather interior – which really does set the car off beautifully. Both of the rear seats fold down offering a massive loading area in the boot – very useful for big shopping spree’s!
This model is fitted with the excellent 2.4 litre petrol engine, which provides a more than capable 158bhp, and the car has a surprisingly sprightly feel to it with immediate and peppy acceleration! The drive quality on the petrol model is definitely superior to the diesel model released a couple of years later, with smoother acceleration, less engine noise, and greater sense of immediacy. Combined mileage per gallon is 28mpg, so on longer journey’s you should expect somewhere in the region of 35mpg – an excellent result for a 4x4!
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in the best available colour - black - and is in excellent condition all-around. The car has clearly been well loved by its previous owners as the condition really is excellent. Many Outlander’s have sadly been abused off-road on farms and the like, or effectively used as work vans, but this particular car has been exceptionally well cared for and shows no signs what-so-ever of ever being driven off-road or otherwise abused in any way!
The car is fitted with the original 16†Mitsubishi Sport alloy wheels – all of which are in excellent order, and the tyres are likewise in excellent condition with plenty of tread remaining.
The car has also been fitted with a tow bar complete with full electrics.
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Outlander model, the interior is luxurious and finished to the highest standard.
The seats are finished in black leather, and all seats are in perfect condition. There are no tears, rips or stains and are exactly as they should be.
The car is fitted with the original Mitsubishi CD and Radio unit, and has an electric sunroof in the front with matching sunroof for the rear.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL MITSUBISHI SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with the stamped Mitsubishi Service Log book.
The car was fully serviced on the 14th November 2009 at Mitsubishi Newquay at 30,781 miles.
The next service is not now due for approximately 3,800 miles (the car should be serviced every 9,000 miles or every year - whichever is soonest).
