The BMW 6 Series really does offer a fantastic solution for most drivers. Firstly and most importantly, the car has excellent performance and gives a superb drive – a true sports car. But additionally also has four seats, lots of creature comforts and a decent boot space, which also makes it a practical day to day car – a real winning combination!
This is the 4.4 litre convertible model, finished in glorious metallic silver with full black leather interior. The roof is completely electric and folds away completely into a special compartment next to the boot. If you like the feel of the wind in your hair on nice days then this car is an excellent choice.
This model is fitted with the excellent BMW 4.4 litre engine, which packs a mighty punch at 328bhp and a 0-60mph speed of 6 seconds dead – now that’s a very capable car!
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in stunning metallic silver and is in excellent condition all around. We always say that, being a used car, you might find the odd minor stone chip or mark if you specifically look for faults, but the really car is in excellent condition all around. Please see the photo’s for yourself – pictures say a thousand words!
The car is fitted with the original BMW 18†alloys and the condition is very good on all four. The wheels may have the odd minor mark, but are certainly well above average and suitable for the majority of owners. Alloy wheel refurbishment can be arranged by seperate negotiation if required, but in our opinion this is not needed as the condition is genuinely very good. The tyres have plenty of tread remaining.
This car is also fitted with factory fitted parking sensors on both the front and the rear to aid parking, and has electric mirrors.
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a high-end BMW model, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard.
The seats (and interior) are finished in stunning black leather, and all seats are all in very good condition. There are no tears, rips or stains and are exactly as they should be.
The car has electric adjustable seats for both driver AND passenger. The drivers seat memorises up to three different positions, so if you and your partner drive the same car, simply open the door, press the memory seat button and it will automatically adjust the seat, steering wheel, and door mirrors to your own unique settings before you even step into the car!
The car also has the full i-Drive Sat Nav and entertainment system built into the dashboard, as well as full phone prep.
The i-Drive system not only controls the Sat Nav, Radio and CD playback, but also handles various other functions in the car such as Air Con circulation and a graphical display of the readings from the Parking Sensors etc. It really is a great system and packed with useful features.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with the stamped BMW Service Log book.
The car has recently been serviced at 44,466 miles on the 10th July 2009. This service carried out was the full Inspection II Service (the big one).
