The Audi S4 Quattro offers outstanding performance and driver enjoyment coupled with all of the practicalities of a luxurious car which can be enjoyed in equal measure on long journeys or on short fun runs. Being a Quattro, naturally it is four wheel drive and this offers superb road handling and a really solid and confident feel to the drive, even with the large amount of power driving the wheels!
This is the Avant (estate) model, finished in glorious metallic silver complete with black leather and alcantara interior. The car has a superb after-market head unit, which is styled OEM and so looks the part, and offers the below features:

This model is fitted with the excellent Audi 4.2 litre V8 engine, which provides a breath-taking 339bhp in standard form. This is the tiptronic version, which is a six-speed automatic gearbox with optional manual gear-shifting performed via the gear stick or the steering wheel paddles.
The car has been very lovingly cared for and genuinely drives like a car with much fewer miles. It has an impeccable service history (detailed below), and the previous owner (a slightly older gentleman) owned the car for several years during which it wanted for nothing, and even had it’s oil changed every 5,000 miles without fail. This is a very genuine and well-loved example.
Also including in the sale is a private registration, which has been valued at £600 by Reg Transfers (the UK’s leading number plate registration retailer), which is a nice extra and beats the standard 53 plate the car originally had.
It’s also worthy of note that this car was actually first registered on the 20th December 2003, so is just 12 days shy of being a 2004 car.
This is the Avant (estate) version making the car not only an excellent drivers car, with more than enough power and an extremely solid and enthralling drive, but also very practical for everyday life. A superb car all-round!
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in stunning metallic silver, and is in excellent condition all-around. The mirrors, window surrounds and roof bars are all finished in chrome which perfectly compliments the bodywork colour.
The car is fitted with the original distinctive Audi S4 alloys, and benefits from having the callipers re-coloured in racing red, complete with upgraded calliper plates with the S4 logo, as found on many 2006 onward cars. S4 callipers are normally finished in unpainted steel, which naturally tends to build up a layer of rust over time and leaves the callipers looking very dull indeed. This small upgrade really does help with the ‘sporty’ look of the car and the gleaming red callipers really do shine through the alloys and add to the overall ‘feel’ of the car – a recommended upgrade for all S4 owners!
Another option on the car is follow me home lights, which leaves the lights on for 30 seconds after you leave your car to light the way to your door in safety. A very nice extra touch!
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Audi sports model, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard. The dash board trim and door trims are all finished with brushed aluminium effect sections, which perfectly accompany the black interior.
The Recaro seats are finished in black leather and alcantara (an original factory option when new), and all seats are in perfect condition. There are no tears, rips or stains and are exactly as they should be, and both driver and passenger seats are electrically adjusted. Many people prefer the alcantara interior as it not only adds a little more to the sporty look of the interior, but is also much grippier when cornering at speed than the smooth leather option (hence alcantara is used a great deal in professional racing cars in everything from seats to steering wheels).
The car is fitted with an excellent head unit, which although after-market (i.e. not Audi manufactured, has a genuine OEM look and looks like it belongs. This great unit is absolutely packed with special features – many not even found on the original Audi head units, a list of which can be found above.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with the stamped Audi Service Log book.
The car was recently fully serviced with 1st Class Marques at 91,841 miles. The next service is not now due for another 20,000 miles approximately.
In addition, as we’re a touch meticulous, we have also replaced the rocker cover gaskets on both sides as they were just starting to go. This is a very common issue on S4’s and the rocker cover gaskets do need to be replaced every once in a while. It’s not a costly job, but it’s now been done for you for maximum peace of mind motoring.
Another point worth noting with the Audi S4 is that they follow the Audi Long Life servicing schedule, which means that the car only needs servicing approximately every 20,000 miles or two years (naturally, as with any car, this figure is approximate and will also adjust according to time elapsed since last service, and the way in which the car is driven etc.)…
