The Audi RS6 is a driver’s dream-car. Not only are they extremely powerful, but they are also four wheel drive (Quattro) and offer superb handling coupled with an exhilarating driving experience.
This RS6 has two owners from new, the second of which has owned the car from July 2006 (when he paid £36,000 for the car – the original Audi sales invoice included) and has spared no expense on his absolute pride and joy. He is a regular customer at Unit 20, which is an RS6 specialist (see www.unit20.org), who are very well known and respected in RS6 circles (preferred in many instances to Audi themselves by many enthusiast owners.)
The car is supplied with an extensive service history – including the fully stamped service book and a massive pile of previous invoices. The previous owner has had some very choice upgrades done on the car, including:

• Hotchkis anti-roll bars

The Custom Code Stage 1 ECU remap boosts the power from 450bhp to 500bhp and is very well-known and respected in RS6 circles – take a look at one of the various RS6 forums or the Custom Code website (www.custom-code.co.uk) for more information.
The H&R adjustable coilovers essentially replace Audi’s DRC suspension system, which can be very costly to replace should it fail. Replacing the DRC system with coilovers is one of the most popular upgrades for RS6’s, and the H&R ones are amongst the best. This car has also had the anti-roll bars upgraded to Hotchkis which is a great accompaniment to the coilovers.
All work on the car has been conducted by Audi or Unit 20, and the cambelt was changed at 73,835 miles on 15th January 2009.
The car is finished in stunning metallic silver which looks superb with the wheel colour and window tints, and the car has full black leather interior and is absolutely packed with gadgets and gizmo’s (see the specification list below).
If you are after a very genuine RS6 with an outstanding calibre and history – then this would make a very fine choice indeed!
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in glorious metallic silver and is in excellent condition all-around. There is (of course) some stone chipping to the front end of the car – but nothing untoward or unexpected, but the overall condition of the car is absolutely superb.
The car is fitted with the original 19†Audi RS6 Plus alloy wheels, which have been refurbished and so are virtually immaculate. They have also been re-coloured from their original silver to graphite grey. The wheels are now the same colour as those found on the RS6 Plus – a really nice touch!
The car is finished with chrome trim around the windows, on the mirrors and also on the roof rails (which looks great against the silver bodywork), and the car also has parking sensors on both the front and the rear – a very useful feature!
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Audi sports model, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard. Everything inside is finished in black - it has black carbon fibre inserts, and even the doors handles are finished in black (rather than chrome).
The seats are finished in black leather with white piping, and all seats are in perfect condition. There are no tears, rips or stains and are exactly as they should be.
These are the official RS6 Recaro seats and the front seats are both electric. The seats are also heated – as are the rear seats!
The roof interior is completely lined with alcantara suede – which is in excellent condition – and this really is a luxurious touch that finishes off the interior beautifully.
This car also has the factory electric sunroof (an £880 option when new) which is quite hard to find on RS6’s.
The car has the full deluxe Sat Nav and entertainment system complete with TV (which has been unlocked so it operates whilst the car is in motion), and has both front and rear parking sensors. It has just about every gadget you can think of – check out the specifications list at the end – there’s simply too much to list here!
This is the Tiptronic model and so has the gear shift paddles on the steering wheel, so you can take manual control or let Auto take over for those lazy cruising days.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with the stamped Audi Service Log book.
The car was fully serviced with Unit 20 at 79,490 miles. The next service is not now due for approximately another 5,000 miles.
If you are serious about RS6’s then you will know that it’s essential to ensure that the timing belt is changed as per Audi’s service schedule. Well, we can confirm that Unit 20 changed the cam belt at 73,835 miles.
In addition to this, we also have receipts from Audi showing the work that has been done over the years – and it shows just how well looked-after this car has been. All receipts will of course be included with the car.
