Based on the superb Audi A6 Avant, the awesome Audi Allroad offers a complete solution for those needing the practicality of a well proportioned estate car coupled with the convenience of a 4x4 off-roader – but without the bulk – and of course with far superior economy. This quite unique vehicle really does offer the best of all worlds.
This is the 2.5 TDI model finished in stunning metallic silver, and this one has full privacy glass coupled with the full chrome trimmings to really give the car an amazing look. If that weren’t enough we’ve just replaced the original alloy wheels with a gorgeous set of 18†alloys which are replica’s of the wheels fitted to the latest 2009-2011 Special Edition model – making this one a real head-turner!
This is the Limited Edition model, and so is fitted with nice luxuries not included a standard in the standard Allroad model including full two-tone leather seats, sat nav, chrome styling exterior and so on, really making this a league above its standard model counterparts.
The sat nav system has been upgraded to the very latest 2011 spec, so all of the mapping etc is completely up to date.
This particular Limited edition has some additional optional extras fitted on top of the already massive Limited Edition specification, these include:
• GSM phone preparation (a £400 option)
• Acoustic parking system - front + rear (a £515 option)
This model is fitted with the superb Audi 2.5 litre turbo diesel engine, which provides a very capable 177bhp coupled with a combined 29mpg – and over 35mpg is easily achievable on longer motorways journeys!
Another excellent feature of the Allroad is the air suspension system. This makes for a super-smooth ride, even over more bumpy ground, and is height adjustable via a button on the dashboard so you can set the ride height to the setting that best suits you.
This is the very rare six speed manual version of the Allroad (most are automatics) which makes it an ideal tow car should you choose to have a tow bar fitted (there is no tow bar currently on the vehicle). The manual version really is a rarity, and couple this with the fact that this is the Limited Edition model, with a mileage which - unlike most Allroad’s - means that the car has not gone to the moon and back, and you have a rare opportunity to get a highly desirable combination. They don’t come up very often, so don’t miss out!
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in stunning metallic silver and is in excellent condition all-around. The car has full privacy glass, which perfectly compliments the bodywork colour, as do the chrome roof rails, mirrors, window surrounds and side skirts.
We have fitted the car with brand new alloys and tyres, and the alloys are 18†replica’s of those found on the latest shape Allroad Special Edition model (2009-2011) and really do help transform the look of the car and set it aside from your average Allroad.
The car is fitted with parking sensors to both the front and rear – very useful for parking in tight spaces!
THE INTERIOR:
As this is the Limited Edition model it is fitted with full two-tone leather seats, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard. The dash board trim and door trims are all finished with black metal detailing, which perfectly accompany the black/grey interior (and is far superior – at least in our opinion – to the wood effect finishes).
The car has the full Sat Nav and entertainment system, complete with widescreen display – all built into the centre console. The system has been upgraded to the very latest 2011 version – making is perfect for accurate navigation.
The car has the factory fitted phone prep with the phone cradle in the centre armrest, but this somewhat dated set up has been replaced with a Parrot blue tooth system that connects wirelessly to your telephone via blue tooth. A very handy addition!
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL AUDI & AUDI/VW SPECIALIST SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with the stamped Audi Service Log book.
The car was fully serviced by 1st Class Marques at 70,587 miles. The next service is not now due for approximately another 20,000 miles.
The car benefits from having had a brand new centre diff (aka Quattro diff) box fitted by Audi earlier this year - complete with invoice. This offers excellent peace of mind as the centre diff is (unfortunately) quite a common issue on the manual Allroad’s and is expensive to repair (£1,500+)!
