The Audi A4 Quattro offers outstanding performance and driver enjoyment coupled with all of the practicalities of a luxurious car which can be enjoyed in equal measure on long journeys or on short fun runs. Being a Quattro, naturally it is four wheel drive and this offers superb road handling and a really solid and confident feel to the drive.
It should be noted that this is Audi’s most powerful and top-end diesel model – the 3.0 TDI Quattro. And this particular car is the much more powerful and capable 233bhp model, as opposed to the inferior 201bhp variant which also exists and is (it seems) the more common of the two. So this really is a rare beast!
The 233bhp 3.0 TDI Quattro always feels solid and confident in its drive, and has enough power to provide a touch of excitement to any journey.
Worthy of note as a future consideration is the fact that this particular model has become a strong favourite for companies who provide performance remaps (such as Revo, Superchips and so on) as their upgrades boost the power of this already capable car to have more torque than the Audi RS4 (488nm and 277bhp vs. 414nm on the RS4)!!! This car is completely standard and unmodified in any way currently, but this option might be useful for a future owner.
This is the saloon model, finished in gorgeous pearlescent Garnet red. The photos really do not do the finish justice as it’s a very strong pearlescent effect that really shines in the light giving it what can only be described as a ‘candy red’ appearance. It truly is an absolutely stunning colour that really glimmers (which the photo’s can’t really catch) and catches everyone’s eye when you drive past. We’ve not seen many A4’s finished in this colour, and it really is gorgeous.

This model is fitted with the excellent Audi 3.0 litre TDI engine, which provides a breathtaking 233bhp with 450nm of torque, and drives wonderfully. Couple this with a healthy 0-60 time of 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 151mph and you have a seriously capable diesel car – a real wolf in sheep’s clothing.
This is the excellent 6 speed Tiptronic Automatic model, which is fitted with paddle shifts on the steering wheel for manual controls of the gears. You can also set the car to drive in standard Automatic mode without using the paddle shifts for lazy cruising days.
THE EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in stunning pearlescent Garnet red and is in excellent condition all-around. The window surrounds are all finished in chrome which perfectly compliments the bodywork colour. It should be noted that the images really cannot catch the fullness of the body colour, and the way it shimmers in the light – especially when the sun is out. It really is a stunning colour.
To really make this car stand out, it has had its alloy wheels upgraded (we believe from new) to the factory optional extra 17†5 spoke (actually 10 split-spoke in appearance) star design. All four wheels have been recently refurbished and so are near immaculate.
The car also has rear parking sensors – which are extremely useful when manoeuvring into tight spaces – as well as follow me home lights, which stay illuminate for around 30 seconds after locking the car, giving you enough light to walk safely to your front door when it’s dark.
THE INTERIOR:
As is to be expected from a top of the range Audi sports model, the interior is sheer luxury and finished to the highest standard. The dash board trim and door trims are all finished with aluminium effect, which perfectly accompany the caramel interior.
The seats are finished in caramel leather, and all seats are in excellent condition. There are no tears, rips or stains and are exactly as they should be.
The car is fitted with Audi’s excellent computerised ‘Navigation System Plus’, which is an integrated CD player, radio, and Sat Nav system. There is also a factory fitted iPod connection in the glove compartment, which integrates with the head unit and brings the on-board tech bang up to date – and everything can be controlled via the multi-function steering wheel.
SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a FULL SERVICE HISTORY from new and comes complete with stamped Audi Service Log book.
